No booking will be deemed to have been made until GBT has received payment in full. Payment in full is due at the time of booking.

Once full payment has been received the Client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

Clients should ensure they are fit and appropriately attired for physical activity in an outdoor environment. A pack-able waterproof and covered shoes are advised.

Children (under 16) must be accompanied by a parent/adult and be prepared for cycling on some public roads.

The minimum age/height for children going on a GBT group tour is 12 years/4’9″.

Students should bring a current matriculation card to the tour start.

Cancellations received more than 28 hours before your tour, will be eligible for a 100% refund (minus any 3rd party outlays). Cancellations made within 28 hours of your tour, will not be eligible for a refund. If you miss your tour for any reason, we will try to re-schedule you on to another existing tour for up to a year. We urge all cancellations to be notified by phone and email if close to the tour date, to ensure the cancellation is received in time.

Where the tour involves the services of a third party, a refund will be at the discretion of that third party according to their terms and conditions.

Privately arranged tours will be paid for by agreement between GBT and the Client. Once booking payments are made they are not refundable except at the discretion of GBT. This includes any booking where a special request or arrangment has been made or discount applied.

GBT does not provide insurance for any Client or third party. It is the Client’s responsibility to arrange appropriate insurance to cover any activity undertaken during a GBT tour.

On matters of safety during a tour, the decision of GBT’s guide is final.

Where a Client chooses to consume alcohol during a Tour, they should do so in a responsible manner and in accordance with the Laws of Scotland.

GBT excludes all liability, to the extent permitted by law, for any injury or loss suffered during a GBT tour.

Prices are correct as of April 2025, but are subject to change.

Any complaint should be made known verbally to GBT immediately and in writing within ten days of the incident. GBT will endeavour to resolve such complaints to the satisfaction of any aggrieved party. Where no satisfactory resolution is made, a referral may be made to British Cycling for guidance on the final resolution of the dispute.

GBT reserves the right to cancel a tour where reasonably necessary. In this instance an alternative tour or refund will be available.

GBT will not store customer financial details (credit or debit card numbers)

Any contract between GBT and another party will be governed by, and construed and interpreted in accordance with, Scots law.
