Discover the hidden gems & grand landmarks of Glasgow by bicycle!

A Private Bike Tour of Glasgow

An unmissable day out on a bicycle!

A private bike tour of Glasgow means you don’t need to share…sometimes you don’t want to and just need your own space! We get it!

That’s why we made this an option, where you can still visit all the grand landmarks, uncover the hidden gems, hangout at Glasgow cool spots, all in a relaxed cycle-friendly way.

Whether you are small bunch of friends; a family; a corporate group or hen or stag party who want to something a little bit different, this is your go-to option.

We offer our fantastic Glasgow city & Clyde bridges bike tour as a private tour for  £75 per person, which allows you do the tour with just the people you are travelling with and to select your start time.

So for example, as  group of 4, you could have your own fresh bike tour for £295…now that is a bargain!

And because it’s private, we can take the odd detour to include a special interest…let’s just remember it’s a family show…”keep it country as they say”!

Have a wee “shifty” (Glesga for “look”) below and see how much goodness is included!

Sometimes you’re just worth it! Go on…treat yourself!

A+ tour, highly recommend.

Kieth, our guide was fantastic. It was a very small group of just four of us plus Keith. Did a great loop, very similar to the layout of the subway system. Very little uphill riding so it’s good for any level bike rider. A+ tour, highly recommend.

Keith was a fantastic guide

Keith was a fantastic guide – 3 hours of sights we would not have seen on any other tour. Well paced, informative and a fantastic pedal on mainly bike paths. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Glasgow bike tours

We had a fantastic time with Ali! He gave us an awesome tour and shared a great deal of interesting facts and stories about Glasgow, both its past and present. We really enjoyed the large loop around Glasgow we biked as it gave us a deeper appreciation for the entire city and its inhabitants. Ali was a fabulous guide in every regard of the word – friendly, very knowledgeable, accommodating and witty! We loved our super cool repurposed postal bicycles as well. We also thoroughly enjoyed the beer tasting at Drygate – Ricky shared an incredible amount of info about the beers we sampled as well as the brewing process, history of Drygate and the general beer industry. He spent a great deal of time with us, and we loved his friendly way and impressive knowledge! Overall we were super happy with the afternoon we spent and would highly recommend Glasgow bike tours!

Thanks for a great tour Keith! 🙂

Keith took us on a lovely cycle which passed through some really interesting parts of this amazing city and I certainly wouldn’t have found these on my own in the time I had. One of the highlights for me was on a narrow track alongside a river which passed by some lovely interesting parts and also when we cycled along the canal with views of the city which were fantastic! Exploring on a bike is a really great way to see as much of a city as possible in the shortest amount of time!

Great way to see the city!

Great way to see the city! The tour group was small and moved at a good place for everyone to keep up. Definitely recommend to get the lay of the land.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide

We had the most wonderful bike tour with Marco today. Such a genuine, friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide. He took his time and answered every question we had. You could tell he actually enjoys his job. I am not a biker and the bikes, while they looked heavy, handled very smoothly so I was able to get up every hill without getting off. He was very good about keeping us together and keeping us safe. Most of the trail was on bike paths along the river or pedestrian paths. Would highly recommend!

In the very unlikely event that you don’t fancy the sound of our private bike tour (let’s face it… perfection is hard to beat), then you can send us a wee note with requests for your ideal tour…we’re always happy to help!

Introducing the Pashley Pronto Mailstar

The ex-postie bike de-luxe version.

Now known as the Elephant Bike, after an incident with several african elephants, these are your luxurious chariots for the bike tour.

The bikes were lovingly restored by the Elephant Bike charity, after the Post Office decided to send 5000 of the bikes to landfill.

For every refurbished bike sold here in the UK, the Charity has sent one to Malawi (for free) to help local people.

Pure comfort and cycling ease, rolled into one beautiful British made bicycle.

Hop on and enjoy!
